Actually, probably not. Most zoo/ captive wolves were bred in captivity, and have no idea of what 'the wild' is. Anyway, even if a captive wolf wanted to survive in the wild, it would likely be unable to because of the fact that it had been handraised by humans all its life. Also, most captive animals live longer, healthier lives and are not so besieged by parasites and diseases as wild wolves. Really, if wolves were intelligent enough to choose, they would probably choose captivity over life in the wild.
